Address Standards
These standards apply to associations, banks, vendors, buildings, units, and residences:
Include the “st”, “nd”, “rd”, and “th” suffixes on numeric street names. For example, 1234 SE 56th St
Abbreviate all directional prefixes (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W and NW). For example, 1234 SE 56th St
Abbreviate all post-directional suffixes (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W and NW). For example, 1234 56th St SE
Abbreviate all street name suffixes using postal service standards:

Include secondary address unit designators in the primary delivery address line where possible.
Abbreviate all secondary address unit designators using postal service standards. For example, 1234 SE 56th St Ste 101

The pound sign (#) should not be used as a secondary unit designator if the correct designator is known and where the pound sign (#) is used, there must be a space between the pound sign and the secondary number. For example, 1234 SE 56th St # 101
Post office boxes should be abbreviated in proper case without punctuation. For example, PO Box 1234
City names should not be abbreviated unless absolutely necessary.
Any alternate address that is directed to a person other than the resident should have the first address line begin “c/o” (in care of—lower case) if the resident is an individual or a company:
