Linking GL Accounts to an Assessment
If the copy function was not used when entering the association information, the income GL numbers must be manually linked to the association’s assessments.
To link the income GL to the assessments:
Select System > Assessments. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Settings > Assessments.
Click on the Association Assessment tab.
NOTE: If the new association requires a new assessment type, the assessment description may be added under System > Assessments by clicking New. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Settings > Assessments.
Search for and select the GL Account number per assessment type as applicable, then click Save. (The Copy and Paste functions are also available on this screen).
NOTE: The Prepaid Assessment GL is required.
