Utility Billing

The meter usage functionality allows you to bill utilities to the homeowners according to their meter readings.

Before using utility billing features, you must set up meter rates and beginning balances to charge the correct amount to homeowners.

NOTE:

Before you begin, make sure your various utility/meter rates are set up as assessment types on the Systems > Assessments screen. For example, you might create a “Water Charge” assessment to link to the corresponding meter rate. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Settings > Assessments.
