Transferring Funds from Sweep Accounts
Transferring Funds from Sweep Accounts
A sweep account automatically transfers money to a secondary account when the balance reaches a set threshold.
How you set up sweep accounts depends on your bank. Some users set up both accounts in CINC Core and record the sweep activity between them. With partner banks, you may need to initiate a transfer that is higher than the main account's register balance in CINC Core, but lower than the total funds available in your sweep account. If you initiate such a transfer from the Banking > Transfer Funds screen, you'll get this error: "The transfer amount has exceeded the available balance." If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Banking > Transfer Funds.
The workaround is to create a recurring transfer. On the Banking > Recurring Transfers / Recurring Transfer Setup screen, toggle on Allow Overdraft. The transfer can run as soon as the next day. For a one-time transfer, set an End Date just after the first scheduled run. For example, if today is 5/7/2026 and you want this transfer to run once on 5/8/2026, set a Start Date of 5/7/2026, an End Date of 5/9/2026, a Frequency of Monthly, and a Transfer Day of 8. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Banking > Recurring Transfers.
