Global Plan Items Setup

A plan template may be created as a global plan template (applicable to all managed associations) that applies to all associations if their needs are the same.

Global plan items can be easily copied into each association’s management plan. For example, corporate holidays and office closures.

Creating New Global Plan Items

  1. Select Setup > Portfolio Management. If you are using universal navigation, click Associations > Setup > Portfolio Management.

  2. Click the Global Plan Items tab at the bottom of the Global Options screen.

  3. On the Global Plan Items screen, complete the following for each item. To add rows, enter the number in the More Items field and click Add. To remove lines, select the checkbox next to the item to be removed and click Remove.

    • Due Date: Enter or select the due date, month and day, for the item.

    • Item Description: Enter a description for the item.

    • Responsibility: Select the party responsible for the item. More responsibilities may be added under System > Drop Down Options/Drop Down List: Portfolio Responsibility. If you are using universal navigation, click Settings > General > Drop Down Options.

    • Create Action Item (days before): Enter the number of days prior to the Due Date that the action item should be created.

    • Internal: Select the checkbox to indicate that the item should not be visible on the Portfolio Management reports.

  4. Click Save.

Copying Global Plan Items to a Future Year

  1. Select Setup > Portfolio Management. If you are using universal navigation, click Associations > Setup > Portfolio Management.

  2. Click the Global Plan Items tab at the bottom of the Global Options screen.

  3. On the Global Plan Items screen, select the checkbox next to the item(s) to copy and click Copy Plan Items.

  4. On the Copy Plan Items popup, select the year in the Copy to Year dropdown and click Copy.

  5. On the Global Plan Items screen, select the Year the items were copied to.

  6. Review and edit the Plan Items as needed.

  7. Click Save.
