Configuring Statement Messages
Configuring Statement Messages
You can create global or association-specific statement messages to communicate additional information, like the dates for a community meeting, on homeowner statements. (see Printing Homeowner Statements)
Creating Statement Messages
Select Setup > Statement Messages. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Billing & Statements > Statement Messages.
Search for and select the association or select All associations.
Click New. A blank row is added to the Statement Messages screen.
Complete the following fields:
Message Name: Enter a name that will be visible on the Homeowners > Print Statements to assist in choosing the correct message to appear on the statement. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Billing & Statements > Print Statements.
Message Text: Enter the information that will be printed on the actual statement.
Display: Select the month of the year that the message is to be applied to the statement. If None is chosen, the message can be used at any time on statements. This setting is for reference purposes only and will not display on any other screen in the system.
Click Save.
Repeat these steps to create additional statement messages as needed.
Copying Statement Messages
NOTE: The Copy/Paste function copies all existing messages saved on an association and pastes them to another association. This function should not be used if the second association has existing messages.
Select Setup > Statement Messages. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Billing & Statements > Statement Messages.
Search for and select the association from which to copy the statement messages.
Click Copy.
Search for and select the association to copy the messages to.
Click Paste. If the association already has statement messages configured, choose one of the following options:
Append: Add the copied statement messages to the configuration.
Replace: Remove all configured statement messages and replace them with the copied messages.
