Multi-Factor Authentication
Admin users with proper permission can configure Multi-Factor Authentication for Admin Portal users.
NOTE: Access to MFA is controlled by security group permissions. See Security Permissions for more information.
Setting Up Multi-Factor Authentication
Select Security / Multi-Factor Authentication.
Choose the following:
Multi-Factor Authentication is On/Off: Toggle to turn MFA on or off. When toggled off, the remaining fields on the screen are hidden.
Multi-Factor Authentication Enabled For # Out of # Users: Shows the real-time count of MFA enabled users against all enabled users. You can view a list of each user and their respective MFA status by clicking View/Manage. See Viewing/Managing Multi-Factor Authentication Users for more information.
Invalid Login Attempts Prior to Locking Account: Number of logins that can be attempted before the account is locked. Select 0 for disabled accounts.
Security Code Expiration: Minutes an MFA enabled Admin Portal user is given to enter the security code before it expires.
Auth Token Expiration: How often users are required to re-enter a new security code upon log in.
New Registration Default: Default status of MFA for newly added users.
Click Save.
Viewing/Managing Multi-Factor Authentication Users
On the Multi-Factor Authentication screen, click the View/Manage button to access the MFA User Management screen.
Select the checkbox in the MFA Enabled column to enable MFA for that user. You can click Disable All to de-select all users or Enable All to select all users.
Click Save.
