The Homeowner & Board App now uses a homeowner's email address as the unique identifier when matching them to an existing contact record in CINC. This ensures that homeowners are matched accurately and that contact personas are kept up to date.
The following rules apply when matching contacts during registration:
Homeowners are only matched to contacts with the same persona (owner or tenant) or to contacts without an assigned persona.
When a homeowner is matched to a contact without a persona, the system automatically updates that contact's persona in CINC.
Manual approval is still required for tenants, when the property address cannot be identified, or when auto-matching fails.
