Specifying GL Segment Descriptions

Select Accounting > GL Segment Descriptions to specify the way financials will be displayed. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Settings > GL Segment Descriptions.

On the Segment Descriptions screen, the first two digits (Category) are used to group similar accounts together. The next four digits are Account numbers, and the last two are Fund numbers.

You can copy from one community to another using the Copy function.
