Entering Chart Account Category Descriptions
To enter descriptions for chart account categories:
Select Accounting > GL Segment Descriptions. If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Settings > GL Segment Descriptions.
Enter the Description for each segment, then click Save.
NOTE: Chart account descriptions may also be copied and pasted from an existing setup by selecting an existing association, clicking Copy, selecting the new association, and clicking Paste.
