Setting up Violation Types
NOTE: Violation types must first be defined prior to creating the Violation templates.
Select System > Drop Down Options. If you are using universal navigation, click Settings > General > Drop Down Options.
Select Violation Type from the Drop Down List field.
NOTE: Violation Types should be created as a General/Main Category.
Click New to add a new row.
Enter a Description for the newly added violation type.
NOTE: Sub-violations should be broken down into smaller categories based on the original types that are defined here. Examples include:
Landscaping: Lawn Care/Mowing, Hedges, Trees, Weeds.
Maintenance/Repairs: Mailbox, Home Exterior, Roof Repairs.
Vehicles/Parking: Parking on Lawn, Oversized Vehicles.
Click Save.
