Adding a Consent Form in Connect Admin

Consent forms collect homeowner agreement to specific terms, such as online voting or acknowledgement of association-specific agreements like unit or user consents.

Note: For Online Voting Consent specifically, only one can be active per association at a time. This ensures homeowners are always consenting to the most current and approved version of the form, preventing confusion or conflicts between multiple active versions.

Follow these steps to add a new consent form:

  1. In CINC Connect Admin, go to Associations > All Associations.

    OR

In CINC with universal navigation, go to Settings > Resident portal management > View all associations.

  2. The Associations page displays. Select the appropriate association.

  3. The Association page displays. Click the Participation tab.

  4. Click the Consent & Signatures tab.

  5. The Consent & Signatures tab displays. Click Add New.

  6. The New Consent page displays. Select the appropriate Consent Type from the drop-down list.

Note: Only one voting consent can be active per association at a time, so homeowners always consent to the most current, approved version. If you select Online Voting Consent while an active form already exists, a warning displays with the number of signed consents for that form.

    Online Voting Consent:

    Unit Consent:

    User Consent:

  7. If you selected User Consent, you must also set two targeting fields:

    1. Persona/User Profile: Select which role the consent applies to.

    2. Publish To: Narrow the audience further in that persona. The default is All Contacts or you can target a specific unit or group.

  8. Enter a Consent Title.

  9. Enter the Consent Text homeowners will read and agree to.

  10. Enable the following toggles as necessary:

    • Collect Agree Check Box: Requires homeowners to select a checkbox to confirm agreement.

    • Collect Print Name: Requires homeowners to type their name.

    • Collect Signature: Requires homeowners to provide a digital signature.

    • Requires Admin Validation: Requires community manager to review and approve the submitted consent.

  11. Select the Consent Deadline date, if necessary.

  12. Click Publish Content.

    Notes:

    • Click Save Draft to save your progress and finish later.

    • For online voting consents, the current one must be archived before publishing a new consent. Archiving revokes all existing signed consents, so proceed only when necessary.

    The consent is saved.
