Broadcast Texts
Broadcast Texts
Broadcast texts may be sent directly from CINC WebAxis, allowing users to easily communicate with their homeowners, board members, committees, and directory lists.
To provide users with the ability to send an unlimited amount of texts at a low cost, the broadcast texts are sent via an SMS email platform. The texts will come from CINC’s email server and will be delivered to the recipients’ phones as a text message.
A fee of $5.00 per month per association that has been granted access to broadcast texting will be charged to the management company, regardless of the number of homeowners opted in.
Broadcast Text Permissions
Broadcast texting is a permission-based activity. Potential recipients will be required to grant permission to receive text messages. So that all homeowners and not just registered website users can be reached, CINC created a broadcast email authorization process that provides the ability to email the homeowners in a database a link to authorize texting. Once they grant authorization through the email link to receive texts, they will receive a subsequent authorization text to ensure their subscription.
To send broadcast texts, complete the following steps:
Before broadcast texts can be sent, specific permissions must be granted to the security group to which the user is assigned. Select Security/Security Permissions and click Edit Security Group next to the applicable security group name
Under the Broadcast Texts section, select the View, Add, Update, and Delete permissions next to each category, as applicable, then click Save at the bottom of the screen
Select Broadcast Texts/Association Text Settings to assign text access to the applicable associations. Check the box under the Access Granted column next to each association that wishes to utilize the broadcast texts function, and click Save.
