Select Broadcast Texts > Send Broadcast Authorization Emails to send an email to the homeowners in the associations that have opted in. Select the following criteria from the dropdowns, then click Send Authorization Email: If you are using universal navigation, click Communications > Broadcast > Send Enhanced Authorization Emails.

  • Associations: Select the applicable associations from the dropdown

  • Email Recipients: Select the groups that should receive the email

  • Board/Committee

  • Web Users

  • Directory

  • Sections

  • Interest Groups

Once the email is sent, homeowners will be provided with a link to opt in to receive texts.

Homeowners will select Yes or No under each phone number to indicate whether to receive text messages to that phone, then click Save. If a homeowner opts out originally, they may opt in later under their My Profile page.

To view the authorization texts that are sent to the homeowners after they opt in through the email, select Broadcast Texts > Review Authorization Texts Sent. If you are using universal navigation, click Communications > Broadcast > Review Authorization Texts Sent. Select/enter the following search criteria and click Refresh:

  • Associations

  • Date Range

  • Phone Number

Viewing Broadcast Text Opt-ins

  1. To view which homeowners have opted in for broadcast texts, select Broadcast Texts > Review Text Subscribers, and select the applicable association. Homeowners are searchable by the following response statuses: All, Yes, No, Blank, and Undelivered.

    If you are using universal navigation, click Communications > Broadcast > Review Text Subscribers.

  2. If a homeowner changes cellphone providers and has stopped receiving text messages, select the homeowner and click Validate Carrier to update their service provider.

  3. Homeowners may opt out of receiving text messages on their My Profile page. The management company may also update the homeowner’s subscription by selecting the homeowner and clicking Unsubscribe. At the end of each broadcast text, a link will be included to opt out of receiving further texts
