Creating User Defined Fields
User defined fields are custom fields you can create to record data relevant to your specific business need on certain screens.
To create user defined field labels:
Select System > User Defined Fields. If you are using universal navigation, click Settings > General > User Defined Fields.
In each area on the screen, enter field labels (up to 50 characters) as needed to have the labels display on the applicable screen:
Associations: Displays on the Setup > Association Setup / Association Information screen. (see Setting Up Association Information) If you are using universal navigation, click Associations > Associations > View All.
Association Other Info: Displays on the Setup > Association Setup / Association Information / Directory / Other Information screen. (see Adding Other Information to the Association’s Directory) If you are using universal navigation, click Associations > Associations > View All.
Homeowners: Displays on the Homeowners > Homeowners / Primary Homeowner Information screen. (see Managing Primary Homeowner Information and Manually Entering Homeowner Information) If you are using universal navigation, click Residents > Residents > Resident List.
Homeowner Additional Addresses: Displays on the Homeowners > Homeowners / Primary Homeowner Information / Addresses screen. (see Setting Up Additional Addresses) If you are using universal navigation, click Residents > Residents > Resident List.
Vendors: Displays on the Vendors > Vendors / Vendor screen. (see Setting up a New Vendor and Setting up a New Vendor for the Management Module) If you are using universal navigation, click Payables > Vendors > Vendor List.
Banks: Displays on the Setup > Banks screen. (see Setting up Banks) If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Setup > Set Up A New Bank.
Bank Accounts: Displays on the Banking > Bank Accounts screen. (see Entering Bank Accounts and Bank Accounts) If you are using universal navigation, click Accounting > Settings > Bank Accounts.
Click Save.
