ACC requests can be entered manually in CINC Accounting using the New ACC Request screen in cases when ACC requests are not entered by the homeowner through the Homeowner & Board App or the Homeowner & Board Portal.

  1. Select CCR > New ACC Request. If you are using universal navigation, click Residents > ACC Requests > New Request.

  2. On the New ACC Request screen, search for and select the desired association.

  3. Search for and select the homeowner in the Homeowner field. The homeowner's name and address are displayed with any pending ACC requests for the homeowner.

  4. In the New ACC Request section at the bottom of the screen, complete the following information:

    • Request Date: Enter or select the date of the ACC request. This can be backdated if necessary.

    • ACC Type: Select the ACC request type (e.g., Fence Request, Pool Request, Shed Request). ACC request types are configured on the System > Drop Down Options screen (see Setting up ACC Types). If you are using universal navigation, click Settings > General > Drop Down Options.

    • Attachment: To attach a document to include with the ACC request, click Choose File and navigate to the document. Select the document and click Open.

      NOTE: Only one attachment can be made on the New ACC Request screen. Additional attachments can be added once the ACC request is posted (see Viewing and Editing ACC Requests).

    • Next Contact: Enter or select the date of the next contact. You can receive an alert to review the account on the date entered if the alert for Next Contact Reminder is enabled.

    • Completed Form Received: Enter or select the date when all requested information from the homeowner is received. You can receive an alert to review the account on the date entered if the alert for Form Not Received Reminder is enabled.

    • Sent to ARC: Leave blank.

    • Modification Description: Enter the details of the ACC request.

  5. Click Post to save the ACC request to the homeowner's account.

After the ACC request is created, it can be:

NOTE: The ACC request will be automatically approved if the Days until ACC Auto-Approval is set on the Setup > Association Information screen for the association (see Setting ACC Requests Auto-Approval). If you are using universal navigation, click Associations > Associations > All Associations > Association Information.
