Setting up the Association-specific Covenant Templates (Optional)

Separate templates can be created for each existing covenant (rule/regulation) for an association. The Covenant Template is association-specific because each association may follow a different policy regarding the violation.

  1. Select Tools > Correspondence Template. If you are using universal navigation, click Associations > Correspondence Tasks > Correspondence Templates.

  2. Search the desired association to create an association-specific covenant template.

  3. Select Covenant Template from the Template Type dropdown.

    Correspondence Templates_Covenant Template

  4. Click New.

    Edit Correspondence Template_Covenant Template

  5. On the Edit Correspondence Template screen, complete the following information:

    • Association: Defaults to All Associations. Search for and select the desired association.

    • Template Name: Name for the template that includes the association's name and the section of the covenant that is being violated (e.g., "First Training Homeowners Association: XXII – Unsightly Items in Yard")

  6. Enter the specific covenant/policy information in the Template section. (e.g., “As per Section XXII of the community covenants, all areas visible from the front street should be kept free of unsightly items.”)

  7. Click Save.
