Setting up subledgers involves several dependent pieces: marking an assessment as Prepaid, defining subledger types, creating and managing subledgers, and assigning assessments to them.
Complete these in the following order, since each one builds on the one before it. Skipping ahead, such as creating a subledger before its subledger type exists, leaves that option unavailable when you need it.
