Device Settings in CINC Manager

Notes:

  • Access to this functionality is controlled by Security Permissions in CINC. If you are unable to access this function, contact your administrator to ensure your permissions are set correctly.

  • Device Settings apply only to the specific device you are logged in on, for the user logged in.

To configure Device Settings:

  1. Tap the vertical ellipsis in the top right portion of the screen to access the CINC Manager Settings screen, and then tap the arrow next to Device Settings.

  2. Configure the following options:

    • Theme: Choose between light or dark theme.

    • Reset Alerts: All alert messages include a “Do Not Show Again” option. If you have hidden any alert messages, this setting will be active. Use this setting to reset and show all alerts again.

    • Enable Auto-Crop for Images: Enabling this setting will allow the app to auto-crop any image to the size requirement when added to violation or work order.

    • Select Note Types to Display: Tap to filter which note types display when viewing a property.

    • Enable GPS: See GPS for CINC Manager for more information.

    • Repeat Offenders: When enabled, select one of the following options for handling violations for repeat offenders.

      • Automatic: Starts all new violations at the next level in the escalation plan if the same violation occurred within the last 12 months for the selected property. This is used by default when Repeat Offenders is enabled.

      • Manual: Gives the user the choice to start the violation at the next level or the first level.

    • Enabled Downloads for Offline User: When enabled, you can download property lists to work in Offline Mode. See Offline Mode Functionality in CINC Manager for more information.

    • Download and Sync Over Wi-Fi Only: When enabled, property downloads will only occur when your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Using cellular connection, as opposed to Wi-Fi, to download and sync may result in additional data usage from your provider.

    • Download Options: Tap to open the Download Options screen where you can determine what information is included in an association download. See Download Options in CINC Manager for more information.

NOTE: If enabling downloads is turned off, the Download icon will not be shown on the Association screen. More on offline mode functionality can be found in Offline Mode Functionality in CINC Manager.
