Violations Overview
Violations are used to track and enforce Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCR) with escalation levels, fines, and correspondences.
Some violations-related screens share similar functionality. To help understand the process, below is the CINC suggest workflow for creating and processing violations.
Process Flow
Create the violation.
Violations for specific homeowners are created and processed in the CINC Accounting on the New Violations screen. Refer to:
Violations can also be created in CINC Manager. Refer to the CINC Manager User Guide. These violations are immediately available for processing in bulk at the association level on the Quick Violation Escalation
Prep the Violation Letter.
You can preview Violation Letters on the New Violations screen or the Quick Violation Escalation screen depending on where you are working from. Refer to:
If needed, you can edit the Violations letters on the Notes History screen for open violations. Refer to:
Update the violation as needed.
Violations that are open can be updated. Refer to:

Violations can also be update in CINC Manager. Refer to the CINC Manager User Guide.
Post the violation job.
Posting a violation makes it available to have violation fines approved, violation letters generated, and violation emails sent. Refer to:
Approve violation fines as needed.
Once a violation is escalated into a level assessing a fine to be paid, approval is required. Refer to:
Send the violation email or violation letter.
Once the violation job is posted, violation emails or letters can be sent from CINC Accounting. The violations Refer to:

Processing Violation Print Jobs if you use an integrated printing partner.
Creating One-Off Violation Letters if you need to regenerate or send a letter without any changes to the violation or violation job.

Close the violation as needed.
CINC suggests closing violations from the Quick Violation Escalation screen. Refer to:
