Using the File Queue Upload Client
Using the File Queue Upload Client
You can use the File Queue Upload client to upload PDF documents from a local drive to the File Queue to use in Group Reports.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A Microsoft computer running Windows 10 or newer is required.
Setting up Upload File Types
It is recommended that you set up upload file types for all needed file types such as Month End Summary, Statements, Welcome Letter, etc.
Select System > Drop Down Options. If you are using universal navigation, click Settings > General > Drop Down Options.
On the Maintain Drop Down Options screen, select Upload File Type in the Drop Down List field.
If needed, click New to add a new upload file type.
Enter a Description and click Save.
Continue adding new upload file types as needed.
Once you have set up the upload file types, they will appear in the Type drop down on the File Queue screen and the Group Report screen under the Queue Files section.
Creating Upload Folders
A folder structure on your computer’s local drive is needed to store the uploaded documents.
Create a folder “C:\Queue Uploads” on your computer. Under the “Queue Uploads” folder, create a subfolder for the Association you want to upload files for, and finally, create folders for each Upload File Type created in Setting up Upload File Types.
For example:
C:\Queue Uploads\0876\Month End Summary
C:\Queue Uploads\0876\Statements
C:\Queue Uploads\0876\Welcome Letter
C:\Queue Uploads\0991\Month End Summary
C:\Queue Uploads\0991\Statements
C:\Queue Uploads\0991\Welcome Letter
…
