Managing User Profiles

Use the User Profiles feature to create and manage customizable profiles, controlling what each user can access and do across the resident app and web platform for secure and efficient community management.

Follow these steps to manage the user profiles:

  1. In CINC Connect Super Admin, select Associations > Association Templates on the left side menu.

In universal navigation, go to Associations > Setup > Association templates.

  1. The Association Templates page displays the existing templates. Click the appropriate template.

  1. The template displays. Click the User Profiles tab.

  1. In the User Profiles section, click Edit to the right of a profile.

  2. The Update User Profile page displays. In the General Info section, update the Profile Name and Profile Description as needed.

  3. In the Role Account Request section, click the toggle to allow individuals to request accounts for this role directly from the community landing page, streamlining the onboarding process.

  4. If enabled, the Role Landing Page Short Description field displays. Enter a brief, clear summary of the role that displays on the community landing page.

  5. In the Community Notifications section, click the toggles to specify whether users in this role receive notifications and through which channels. Disabling the toggles block all notifications for these users.

  6. In the Platform Access section, click the toggle to allow users in this role to set up their account and access the resident app, web platform, and assigned features, ensuring only authorized roles can use community resources.

  7. If enabled, click the appropriate toggles to allow users to use the following features.

  8. Enable the Work Orders, Violations, and ACC Request toggles as necessary to allow users to use the following features.

  9. Enable the Financial Information toggle to allow users view financial information for their unit.

  10. Click Save.
