Adding Global Folders

You can add global folders to organize and standardize documents across all associations, such as company policies, templates, or standard communications.

Follow these steps to add a new global folder:

  1. In CINC Connect Super Admin, select Documents > Global Folders on the left side menu.

OR

In universal navigation, go to Associations > Documents > Global Folders.

  1. The Global Folders page displays. Click Add New.

  2. The New Global Folder page displays. Click New Folder.

  3. Enter the Folder Name and Description.

  4. Select the Permission Type, either Public, Restricted, Authorized, or Admin.

Note: If you select Authorized, you must then select a User Profile type and Committee type that will have access to this folder.

  1. If applicable, click the Enable for AI Resident App toggle to make this folder and documents in it accessible to the AI-powered resident app functionality of CINC Connect.

  2. If applicable, click the Enable for AI CINC Manager App toggle to make this folder and any documents in it accessible to the manager-facing CINC Manager app.

  3. If applicable, click the Tags toggle to apply keyword labels to that folder and any documents in it. These tags help with classification, searchability, filtering, and often reporting and analytics.

  4. Select a tag from the list or create a new tag and then click Add.

to remove any unnecessary tags.

  1. Click Save.

The system adds the folder to the Global Folders page and to all the associations.
