Enabling Homeowner/Resident Global Settings Features in Super Admin

Follow these steps to enable homeowner/resident features:

  1. In CINC Connect Admin, go to Settings.

    OR

    In CINC with universal navigation, go to Settings > Resident portal management > Global settings.

  2. The Settings page displays. Click the Global Settings tab.

  3. Click the Homeowner/Resident tab.

  4. Enable any of the following toggles to make them available for homeowners and residents:

Option

Description

Blocked/Stop Payment Homeowners Status

Controls the level of access a homeowner has in the portal when their account is set to Blocked or Stop Payments.

Profile Update

Determines whether homeowners can update their own name in their profile; does not update in CINC.

CINC Contact Information Sync

Controls which contract fields system to CINC when a homeowner updates their profile. Only the checked fields update the address record tied to their web registration.

eStatements Option

Controls whether homeowners see the option to opt into eStatements on their My Profile page. Homeowners on ACH billing need to contact their management company to change their billing type.

Update Billing Type Owner Address Record

Controls whether opting into eStatements updates the address record marked as Owner Mailing Address to a billing type of eStatements. Homeowners on ACH billing cannot make this change on their own and need to contact their management company.

Update Billing Address

Allows homeowners to update their billing address for online payments; does not update in CINC.

Homeowner Closed Violation Presentation Days

Specifies how long closed violations remain visible to homeowners.

Disable Violation Comments by Status

Prevents homeowners from adding comments to violations in selected statuses.

ACC Request Closed Statuses List

Defines which ACC request statuses are considered closed and displayed in the complete requests list.

Homeowner ACC Request New ACC

Controls whether homeowners can submit new ACC requests.

Homeowner ACC Request Presentation Day

Sets how long ACC requests remain visible to homeowners based on their status.

Homeowner ACC Request Comments and Attachments for Closed ACC Request

Determines whether homeowners can add comments or attachments to closed ACC requests.

Homeowner Work Order Notes

Specifies which work order statuses allow homeowners to add notes.
